  2. Roman food • Poor people ate lots of bread • Wealthy people ate lots of meat and spices

  3. Colosseum • 55,000 people can watch the gladiators fight • Sometimes the gladiators fight naval battles • Back then they didn’t have TV so the colosseum was very important to them

  4. Roads • Romans build roads to move around the empire quickly • The Romans trade for goods on roads • They use milestone to build roads

  5. Aqueduct • Aqueducts provide fresh water for the roman cities • Aqueducts also get rids of waste • Aqueducts are carried by gravity

  6. Roman Baths • Men and women bathed separately • There were different bath tempetures • Some people didn't like the public baths because some people lived near it and it was loud • Everybody could use the public baths

  7. Romanarmy • The army was divided into legions • Every army was proud of their legions

  8. Town houses • Town houses are made of brick or wood • Poor people lived in apartments and wealthy people lived in their own house
