  5. Conflict: a struggle between two opposing forces in the story • Conflict is the problem the character faces in a story Conflict

  6. Exist within the mind of the character who is torn between opposing feelings or goals. Internal Conflict

  7. Exist when a character struggles against some outside force, such as nature, society, fate, or another person. External Conflict
