HISTORICAL BACKGROUND • Creation : April 2003 following the institutionnalisation of the PCRD under the form of a Services Cooperative • Evolution into a limitedliabilitycompany in 2010 • Mission : TaanadiS.A’s mission is to contribute to povertyalleviationwithinitstargetted population, throughreinforcingfinancial and technicalcapacities and guaranteeinggrassrootsdevelopment • Values : Professionnalisme-Respect-Integrity-Safety-Merit-Efficiency

  4. II.PRODUCTS OFFERED • Group loans • Individual Loans • Loans for village banks • Warrantage • Crop Credit • Loans to SMEs • DAT • DAV • TRANSFER • SUIVI DES OPERATIONS

DIFFICULTIES • The resources are, majority of the time, very short term (which does not allow for a good growth strategy) • The delay in dealing with the files is quite long (poses the problem of the funding of certain seasonal activities such as warrantage) • Certain criteria were not met (Rating) • Level of indebtedness quite high

  7. V. ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN • Setting up of a business plan • Undertaking of two simultaneous ratings(financial and complete Social ratings) • Publication of statistics on the MIX • Joining of several networks (AMT, MAIN, ….) • Institutional transformation • Mobilisation of savings

THE CHALLENGES • Increase one’s presence in regions that are already covered(3) • Reach other regions within the country(3) • In order to do this, a business plan was set up to cover the 2011-2015 period: the biggest challenge is to find technical and financial partners that will help us put this plan into action
