  3. Capacity (Volume) Base unit is the LITER. Most commonly used measurements: Milliliter (amount of medicine to take) Liter (amount of pop in a bottle) Kiloliter (amount of water in a swimming pool)

  4. Mass (Weight) Base unit is the GRAM. Most commonly used measurements: Milligram (weight of a mosquito) Gram (weight of a paperclip) Kilogram (weight of person)
