Animal abuse facts point out most of the time people who batter women as well as abuse children, also abuse animals. 71% women who have been battered or suffered from domestic violence have reported that their batterer had killed, maimed or abused family pets. People in rural as well as urban areas are reported for animal cruelty cases.
