  2. LA CANDELARIA. On february 2nd, we celebrate La Candelaria Virgin. That day all the recent born babies are passed by the Virgin’s shawl.

  3. SAINT FELICES DE BILIBIO. June 25th. This day we celebrate the patron of Haro. Patron of haro

  4. JUNE 25th, THE CHOCOLATE. We have chocolate blind-folded as a traditional custom this day.

  5. JUNE 29th, THE BATTLE OF WINE. This is a national touristic attraction. It is held every year in the early morning on the 29th of June. It consists on throwing wine to each other with all types of tools, for example: bottles, buckets, water guns, etc.

  7. 29th OF JULY. Santa Marta is the Patron of restaurants and pubs. They celebrate this special day.

  8. 1st SUNDAY OF SEPTEMBER. everybody gathers in a mountain (los Riscos de Bilibio) to sing, dance and have a picnic.

  9. SEPTEMBER 8th, “LA VEGA” VIRGIN. This is our patron saint. This day there is a contest of nice words devoted to the Virgin.

  10. The 8th of September flowers are offered to the Virgin.

  11. THE PARADE. On these floats, you can see all the “Queens” of the parties from every village near Haro.
