  4. The touch panel defaults to the Title Screen when a call terminates or the Polycom restarts. Return to Index

  6. Place a Call Return to Index

  7. To place a call, press the Place Call button. Return to Index

  8. Select Address Touch the Pink arrows to scroll down to the desired address. (Addresses are listed in alphabetical order.) Return to Index

  9. Select Address When touched, the pink arrows should turn blue. When selected, the address will be highlighted in a gold box. Return to Index

  10. After you find the address press the Selectbutton and this will place your call. Return to Index

  11. To dial a call manually Return to Index

  12. Using the keyboard, type the address of the call to be dialed then press CALL Return to Index

  13. If you are teaching, make sure the Near Instructor camera is selected so your students from the other sites can see you. Return to Index

  14. Hang up the Polycom Return to Index

  15. After class is over, always disconnect from the other sites. Press the Hang Up button (This should be done after every class). Return to Index

  16. Restart the Polycom Return to Index

  17. To restart the polycom, press theRestart Polycombutton. Return to Index

  18. Touch the green square “Yes – Restart Polycom” Return to Index

  19. After the Polycom restarts, it defaults to the Title Screen Return to Index

  21. To turn the volume up in your classroom, press the button Return to Index

  22. To turn the volume down in your classroom, press the button Return to Index

  23. To use the computer, press the Computer button Return to Index

  24. To use the document projector, press the Documentbutton Return to Index

  25. If you want to use the VCR: • place a tape in the VCR • make sure the power is on • press “Play” on the VCR • select the VCRbutton on the screen • make sure students can see on both TVs (Video 1 or Video 2) Return to Index

  26. The Auxiliary button will send what is on your laptop to the TV’s Plug your laptop into the RCA jack Return to Index
