  10. Why Tourism Entrepreneurs must have the ownership of BRF??? Are we responsible??? • Hotels and Restaurant: We continue to pollute Bagmati by discharging sewage and dumping wastes at Bagmati – Now it’s time to act to save it. • Trekking- Kathmandu is the Headquarter of all trekking Operators, we transfer the waste from highest dumping site Everest to biggest dumping site Kathmandu. Do we feel responsible for it???? • All travel agencies make their earning from Bagmati civilizations such as all heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley where we take our Tourist. • Scenic Float: Upper stretch of Bagmati, Sundarijal-Uttarbahini, can be rafted from July till September. Just imagine about floating down Sundarijal-Chobar, one day. • Close to 25% of Ktm valley population are connected with Tourism Industry and above 70% human resources are idle during this time. • Bagmati Movement: if we all can funnel this energy to spark the Bagmati Movement. I firmly believe the tourism industry can do it, just need that attitude…

  11. Why Students? To develop awareness attitude and skills among the students and their circles To encourage and involve the students to participate in environmental activities; To make the people aware of various methods of environmental improvement; To understand the damage that man has done to his environment. Students/youths are the real change makers and work as a bridge for the juniors and seniors

  12. Role of Environmental Students • Awareness to the people with the logical and scientific explanation • Innovative ideas for the solutions of different prevailing environmental problems • Serious inputs for the conservational program as they are highly motivated and dedicated towards conserving the environment • Application of the acquired knowledge in reality

  13. Why Tourism & Corporate Houses must get involve? Turning off season into season… • Monsoon is the festive time and it is the season when nature is in it’s best, it all depends on how we promote and showcase it. • A world class adventurous “Eco-Challenge” 3 to 5 days rout can be developed to attract world class athletes and medias. It’s perfect. • We must not underestimate those beautiful heritage sites along the bank of Bagmati. i.e. Shankhamul, walk from Kalmochan to Teku Dobhan, a walk from Gokarneswar to Uttar Bahini temple etc. It does not smell during mid June to till winter season. Think about all season? • Kathmandu: The first impression and last impression of every tourist who fly in and out of Nepal. • Why corporate houses must involve in this movement ????
