Five Facts • Discovered the Law of Falling Bodies and the Law of Pendulum. • Designed a variety of scientific instruments. • Developed and improved the refracting telescope (he did not invent it). • Discovered 4 Moons orbiting Jupiter. • Chief Mathematician and Philosopher of Cosimo II `de Medici.
