  3. 1929 A group of businessmen from Rotterdam start the Foundation Netherlands Economic Institute with an equity of €100.000,- 1945 A time of steady growth for NEI (Netherlands Economic Institute), with professor Jan Tinbergen as one of the leading employees. Growing commercialization. Kolpron Real Estate Consultants is founded. 1980 1999 Kolpron and NEI merge. The leading UK company ECOTEC merges with NEI and Kolpron. The name ECORYS is chosen as the group’s name. 2000 ECORYS Group has grown into a healthy company with a yearly turnover of more than € 76 million (2005). 2006 77 years company history
