Delivery Plan For Sustainable Procurement • Background • Government response to SDC annual report March 2008 promised Delivery Plan for sustainable operations and procurement (plus Chief Sustainability Officer and Centre of Expertise in Sustainable Procurement – both in OGC) • Content • Sustainable operations • Targets for sustainable operations on the government estate • Sustainable procurement • Delivering the government’s Sustainable Procurement Action Plan and the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit recommendations • Other government commitments • e.g. 43 recommendations from SDC, “zero carbon public buildings” • Enablers • Up to date reporting through OGC E-Pims database • Format • Plan sets out: vision; actions – milestones and trajectories; incentives; delivery partners/stakeholders; governance; programme management • focuses primarily on CSR07 years
