  1. Mrs. Reynolds’ News August 12th-16th Behavior Log In the back of the SPAT (blue folder) you will find a behavior log. The number highlighted indicates how many sticks were pulled. Beside the number is the reason for sticks pulled. Please initial daily. STAR Folders This week you will see a purple STAR folder coming home. The folder will have a sight word packet. I have assessed your child on reading words and based on the assessment, the list highlighted is where they need to start. Only practice the list highlighted. Sometimes, there may be more than one list highlighted. We will test every Friday. Once your child has passed their test with me, they will receive a sticker on their Reading Skill book and I will write the date they completed the list. Rules: Listen when your teacher is talking Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Honest. Raise your hand to speak or stand. Follow directions quickly. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. These rules are a little different than our previous rules. These will be the rules we will follow from this point forward. 7 Habits: This week’s habit is Be Proactive. Ask your child what that means to them. We teach that they are responsible for their thoughts, attitude, feelings, and actions. Essential 55 Rules #1 Say Yes Mam, No Mam, Yes Sir, No Sir. This is a rule we follow in our school to practice good manners. Dates to Remember: August 13th: Volunteer Training 10am and 5pm August 28th= Smart Cards are due.
