  1. Gate Physics Exam Pattern: Understanding the Exam Structure and Marking Scheme! Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. GATE is conducted to assess the aptitude and knowledge of the candidates in various fields of engineering and science. GATE Physics Pattern is designed to test the candidate's knowledge, understanding, and problem-solving skills in the field of Physics. The GATE Physics Pattern includes multiple-choice questions, numerical answer questions, and also questions requiring analysis and reasoning skills. The exam paper consists of 65 questions worth 100 marks, and the duration of the exam is three hours. The GATE Physics Pattern is divided into three sections: Section 1: General Aptitude (GA) The GA section comprises 10 questions worth 15 marks. The questions in this section are designed to test the candidate's verbal and numerical ability. Section 2: Physics This section comprises 55 questions worth 85 marks. The questions in this section are designed to test the candidate's knowledge, understanding, and problem-solving skills in various fields of Physics. Section 3: Engineering Mathematics This section comprises 10 questions worth 15 marks. The questions in this section are designed to test the candidate's knowledge of mathematical concepts and their application in engineering. The GATE Physics Pattern is updated every year, and the question paper is designed to test the candidate's knowledge of basic concepts, application of principles, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills. The exam is conducted online, and the candidates have to select the correct option or enter the numerical value for the answer using the virtual keyboard provided on the computer screen. Conclusion GATE Physics Pattern is designed to assess the candidate's knowledge, understanding, and problem-solving skills in various fields of Physics. The pattern includes multiple-choice questions, numerical answer questions, and also questions requiring analysis and reasoning

  2. skills. The GATE Physics Pattern is updated every year to ensure that the questions are relevant and test the candidate's ability to apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems. For the source url:-https://www.pw.live/blogs-gate/gate-exam-pattern
