  3. Look at those fractions again! 1234 2 4 6 8 Can you see that the number in yellow at the top of the fraction is exactly half of the number in red on the bottom of the fraction?

  4. Remember for a fraction to be (the same as) EQUIVALENTto a half the number on the topmust be half ofthe number on the bottom.
