  1. The HHA Website: Decisions Needed on the Management of the HHA Website and on a Means to Financially Support it.

Background of the HHA website: • The work of HHA involves individuals working across agencies, many separated geographically • =>there is a need for a common web-space • HHA established COPs as a means to organize and provide robust and coordinated responses to country demands • => the website houses a number of COPs under the HHA umbrella

  3. Objectives of the HHA website: • To inform the visitor on HHA: objectives, activities, achievements. • To facilitate communication within HHA: • A shared space to house information and documentation • Strengthens the HHA brand • The COP portals

  4. Current Status and Future Needs of the Website: • The content of the website does not yet reflect the full scope of HHA • => input from each partner is needed • Additional roles are needed to effectively manage the content and development of the website • => These roles include focal persons from each partner and a news writer and web marketer

  5. Proposals and the Need for Approval to Proceed: A number of proposals, regarding the roles needed for the management and development of the website, have been put to the HHA steering committee which need to be approved • The assignment of one focal person per partner: each partner is to assign a focal person with sufficient time and authority to fulfill the role on behalf of the agency. • The recruiting of a news writer and web marketer: Agreement on the proposed scope of this role as set out in the TOR and whether this role will be outsourced or provided by a partner.

  6. The Need for Approval to Proceed Pt 2: The sharing of the costs associated with the management and development of the site has been proposed to the HHA steering committee. Decision required: Agreement on the cost sharing of the HHA website, which areas will be a shared cost and between which partners. It is recommended that costs be shared equally.
