A PROJECT REPORT ON WORLD LITERACY DAY & WORLD NUTRITION WEEK Held on Tuesday 08th September 2009 • HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY :- • CONDUCTING AN AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR THE PARENTS AT KIDDIES PARADISE SCHOOL, LUDHIANA at 1130 hrs. • DISTRIBUTION OF MILK TETRAPAKS & BISCUITS AT KIDDIES PARADISE SCHOOL at 1230 hrs. • Distribution of Stationary Notebooks & Milk Tetrapaks & Biscuits at Navkiran School at 1330 hrs. • Media coverage & Press Interview at 1400 hrs. • Distribution of similar Milk Tetrapaks & Biscuits at an Orphanage called Anand Marg Ashram at 1630 hrs. • Joint efforts of LRT 188 & LLC 110 made the complete day a huge success. • Total No. of children benefitted : 130

  2. Principal of Kiddies Paradisewelcoming all Tablers & Circlers & thanking them for their support to the school. Below :- Parents attending the Literacy Awareness program The awareness program was conducted by Chairman Tr. Pravjit, Tr. Naren & Cr. Niti Gupta. The program was very well acknowledged by the parents of children.

  3. Top Left : Chairman LRT 188 Tr. Pravjit, Chairperson LLC 110 Cr. Niti Gupta alongwith other tablers & circlers distributing milk tetrapaks and biscuits to the children of the school. Top Center : Benefitted children of our project on WORLD LITERACY DAY & WORLD NUTRITION WEEK. Bottom Left : Tr. Naren distributing the milk tetrapaks and biscuits to the children.

  4. Left :- Secretary Tr. Sudeept, Tr. Jaideep & Cr. Shivani having a literacy awareness session with the parents of the children. The parents were specially made aware of the education of girl child. Right :- Tr. Naren, Tr. Varun & Tr. Jaideep after distributing milk tetrapaks & biscuits and stationary notebooks to the children.

  5. PROJECT AT NAVKIRAN SCHOOL Left :- Chairman Tr. Pravjit, Tr. Jaideep & Cr. Shivani distributing milk and biscuits to the children of Navkiran School. Navkiran school is a small school run in a Dairy for children of slum areas. Right :- Chairman Tr. Pravjit & Secretary Tr. Sudeept distributing the food packets containing milk and biscuits to the children of Navkiran school.

  6. Left :- Banner of Navkiran School Right :- Teachers & management of Navkiran School were enthralled by our project and sought future projects for the children belonging to slum areas.

  7. Top :- Chairman Tr. Pravjit distributing milk & biscuits to the children of ANAND MARG ASHRAM. Top :- Benefitted children of ANAND MARG ASHRAM Right :- Chaiman Tr. Pravjit, Chairperson LLC 110 Cr. Niti alongwith other tablers & circlers presenting a token to a girl child named Pragati who is adopted by LLC 110 for sponsoring her education for one complete year.

  8. PUBLICITY ON WORLD LITERACY DAY & NUTRITION WEEK ABOVE :- The joint project of LRT 188 & LLC 110 was well covered and publicized in Ludhiana Edition of The Tribune newspaper. This publicity gave us a tremendous thrust to do more & more for the children of slum areas. LRT 188 will definitely try to strike more such projects thus benefiting more & more under-privileged children.
