  2. Ovulatory disorders • Ovulation induction (OI) treatment attempts to stimulate the hormonal pathways to release an egg from the ovaries.  • The most common causes for female infertility are ovulatory disorders. Without ovulation, fertilization and pregnancy cannot occur.
