  2. Beef Steaks come from cows. Cows get tags on their ears. People have to brand their cows just in case they get lost. Leather comes from cows skin. When the babies are born they drink milk out of a big milk bottle.

  3. Cheese Cows have four stomachs . We eat 270 pounds of cheese a year. Cheesecake has cheese in it. There is a lot of cheeses like yellow cheese and shredded cheese and Swiss cheese and more.

  4. Food safety Wash your hands before you eat breakfast , lunch and dinner. You need to cut your veggies before your meat so your veggies won’t get bacteria on your veggies. The temp should be at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.

  5. Dairy Barn Cows have very long tongues it is 12 inches long. You have to clean the utter before you milk it because you do not want germs in your milk. When a cow has a baby they have to give them milk so the framers start milking them again.

  6. Pecans Pecan trees can grow up to be 60 feet tall. Pecans are full of nutrients. A lot of pecans can grow on a pecan tree. When the pecans fall off the tree you pick up the pecans and also pick up some dirt . So you put it in a machine to separate the dirt from the pecans.

  7. Corn The 3 sisters are corn, beans, and squash. Veggie nuggets have corn oil. Yogurt has corn syrup. Pancake syrup has corn syrup. There are long Corn, short corn and curved corn.

  8. Cotton We grow cotton in New Mexico and Arizona . Cotton plants grow up to be 3 to 4 feet tall. Eli Whitney is credited with inventing the cotton gin in 1793.Clothes are made out of cotton. Like a shirt, Pants and more.

  9. Animals • After all the presentations we went to see all the animals at the Farm and Ranch Museum. I saw goats, cows, horses and bulls. I also explored the horse barn. I also see a pen for bull riders.
