First of all Data Coordination Board • A sub-group of the Digital Delivery Board • Delegated authority from SoS for publication under section 250 • Main governance route through which data and standards requirements are to be agreed and priorities assigned, across the entire health and social care system and all ALBs • Driver of burden reduction (current estimate £426m) • History – from Committee for Regulating Information Requirements (CRIR) in 1987, through ISB and SCCI, and ROCR and BAAS – all now under one umbrella • Data Standards Assurance Service (DSAS) supports DCB – we publish • Standards and collections • An alphabetical list of all current Data Coordination Board (DCB) and Information Standards Board (ISB) standards and collections.
