Psalm 103:1-5 (NIV) Praise the Lord, O my soul;all my inmost being, praise his holy name.Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sinsand heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Psalm 103:1-5 (ESV) Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity,who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

  4. Forgives All Your Sins • Mercy- Not getting what I Deserve • Grace- Getting what I do not deserve

  5. 2. Heals All Your Diseases • Spiritual- Isaiah 53:5- “by His Stripes we are healed” • Physical

  6. 3. Redeems Your Life From The Pit • Redeem- To free from captivity by payment of ransom • Redeemer- A person who redeems (Jesus- Eph. 1:7)

  7. 4. Crowns You With Love and Compassion • Crown- Adorn- to mark with honor • Love & Compassion (Mercy) - Character marks of Jesus

  8. 5. Satisfies Your Desires With Good Things • Satisfy- To please; to make happy • With Good things– Godly Things; Your needs (Phil 4:19)

  9. Key Truths: • God is Good and God Loves You!! • Godhas a purpose for everything! • He will Work in your life– For Your Good and His Glory!!!

  10. Psalm 103:6-10 (NIV) The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

Psalm 103:11-15 (NIV) For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west,so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass,he flourishes like a flower of the field;

  12. Psalm 103:16-19 (NIV) the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.

  13. Psalm 103:20-22 (ESV) Bless the Lord, O you his angels,you mighty ones who do his word,obeying the voice of his word!Bless the Lord, all his hosts,his ministers, who do his will!Bless the Lord, all his works,in all places of his dominion.Bless the Lord, O my soul!

  14. Challenge: • Surrender your life to Him and watch what He will do for you!
