Ralph Nader, Lawyer • (1934 -- ) 69 years old • Consumer Advocate, Activist • Founded “Public Citizen” in 1971 • - Auto Safety • The Critical Mass Energy • and Environment Program • - Congress Watch • Global Trade Watch • The Health Research Group • The Litigation Group, etc… • Candidate of Presidential • Campaigns, 1992, 1996, and 2000 Born in Winsted, CT, and was educated at Princeton and Harvard universities. After quitting a legal consulting company, he hitch-hiked all the way from CT to Washington DC and… He sued the GM for the reason of pollution. His campaign against questionable manufacturing and design practices in the automobile industry brought him to national attention, when he published Unsafe at Any Speed (1965; revised ed. 1972).

  3. Born in Winsted, CT, and was educated at Princeton and Harvard universities. After quitting a legal consulting company, he hitch-hiked all the way from CT to Washington DC and… He sued the GM for the reason of pollution. His campaign against questionable manufacturing and design practices in the automobile industry brought him to national attention, when he published Unsafe at Any Speed (1965; revised ed. 1972).
