Live in the heart of the city, in the heart of God • Founded in 1975 by Brother Pierre-Marie Delfieux and Cardinal Marty • The community was founded at Saint-Gervais located in Paris • In addition there are foundation in 6 countries: • Europe (France, Poland, Germany, Italy, Belgium) • North America (Canada) • 200 monks and nuns from 20 countries call to be city dwellers who live in the heart of and at the rhythm of the city I.   3. “Create an oasis in the urban desert of solitude and anxiety, yearning or indifference, by bringing to life a place of silence and prayer which is also a place of welcome and sharing” • Liturgy • sung entirely in four voices • based on the Roman rite • with Eastern and Western Christian traditions • open to the spirit of church renewal and to the call of ecumenism • Prayer: three times per day • morning prayer(7 a.m.) • midday prayer (12.30 p.m.) • vespers & Eucharist (6 p.m.) II. The liturgy at Saint-Gervais has been broadcasted since the late 90’s • on mornings and middays from Tuesdays to Saturdays • Vespers & Eucharist on Saturday night • In 2008, the Monastic Communities of Jerusalem created FMJweb a non profit organization in charge of production III. The liturgy is broadcast on live 12th SIGNIS TV Producers Seminar - NAIROBI 2013

FMJweb has acquired digital equipment (6 cameras, screens, etc.) that meet the highest standards for television and Internet • Prayers are mainly broadcast on the TV channel KTO • Other programs are made for specific events related to the the liturgical calendar. • FMJweb’s team composed by 8 people: • permanent staff • + 2 monks and volunteers IV.
