  6. Let’s go one step farther – let’s create some program evaluations • You each have a handout “2013-2014 Springdale School District Literacy SMART Goal Worksheet” • Your job is to create effective program evaluations for these strategies. • You have 10 minutes.

  7. How often should I use formative assessment?What process should I use for program evaluation? Schmoker in Focus reminds us about the celebrated journey of Stevenson High School. Schmoker goes on to say, “After analyzing survey data, Buckingham found that employees crave simplicity and clarity; they want to know precisely what they can do to be most effective…”

Monitor and evaluate progress and revise plans • How can you monitor, evaluate and revise, if you do not have a working planning document? • How can you monitor, evaluate and revise if you do not have scheduled revision times?

  10. How do I need to modify my ACSIP because of all I have learned? Now it’s your turn to look into your ACSIP (your building SMART Goals) and analyze your strategies, your timelines, and your program evaluations.
