(NICSI) was set up in 1995 as a section 25 Company under National Informatics Centre with an aim to provide total IT solutions to Government organisations. • NICSI promotes development of services, technologies, infrastructure and expertise supplementing those developed by NIC, including NICNET, for economic, technological, social and cultural development in India. • NICSI has been assisting organizations in the Central Government, State Governments and PSUs with facilitation of ICT in turnkey projects, Hardware/ Software procurement, LAN/ WAN/ VC/ VSAT setup, and Technical Support Persons Deployment

Select Projects: eOffice • e-Office – an instrument for the Next Generation Government. • It is embedded with a Content Management Framework (CMF) which can enable employees to create their own content and submit the same for review and publication on the portal. • With a single platform, the entire organization can collaborate, share documents in any format electronically.

Select Projects: eHospital • E-Hospital is a generic application software which addresses all the major functions of a Government hospital • The e-Hospital solution helps small to large size hospitals to streamline patient care, hospital administration, ancillary services and clinical support activities • The key features of e-Hospital are providing an integrated solution for hospital and clinic needs, real time access to patient admission, patient records, Ward-cabin-ICU management, patient treatment management and disposition, investigations, laboratory services, reports, finance and HR management etc.

IN THE PIPELINE IN ASSAMMultimedia Information System for the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra • SRS undertaken on request from the Hon’ble Minister for Cultural Affairs, Shri Bharat Chandra Narah and Kalakshetra • ICT application for preservation, dissemination and promotion of the rich cultural heritage of Assam • Proof of Concept ready for submission • Content identification and quantification for Vaishnavite culture completed • Envisages creation of comprehensible ICT infrastructure for Kalakshetra for information/content capture, development and dissemination • Ready to roll onto content capture and development phase
