  1. WELCOME! We’re glad you’re here!! Children are welcome in worship, or you may take them at any time to our staffed nursery (infant through 3 years).

  4. There is always someone who will pray for you. Please contact the church office or Cindy Sawyer (hmclsawyer@yahoo.com).  Thank you to all who keep Trinity and the needs of the church and its people in prayer!

  5. Let your Spirit Soar (Seek God; Offer Yourself; Act in Faith; Repeat) We have new business cards to share with the community. Pick up a few and give them to sales associates where you shop and servers where you dine out. Give them to friends, neighbors, or people you meet on the street. Share the message of Jesus Christ with everyone! Ask the ushers to give you several!

  6. Trinity will be holding its First Annual Family Fall Festival on November 2, 2013 from 12-3. See how you can volunteer - details in your bulletin.

  7. Please be sure to have all articles for the November “Lamplighter” to Debbie in the church office by Tuesday, October 15th.

  8. Faith Circlewill be meeting on Tuesday, October 15th at 7 pm at Judy Myers’ House, not at the church as stated on the reminder cards!

  9. After school Enrichment at Germantown Elementary with Melissa and Andre Sherwood Program Dates: Mondays – Thursdays, October 21 – December 19 Volunteers needed from 3:30 – 5:30 Help with homework, snacks Details in the bulletin

  10. THE CHRISTMAS CANTATA REHEARSALS • ARE UNDERWAY! JOIN US! Wednesday nights, 7:30 in the Music Room (No experience necessary!)

  11. Next Sunday: Next Sunday, October 20, is Missions Sunday. Several guest speakers will address the Missions of Trinity UMC. Plan to join us for this special service and learn more about how you can share in the ministry of this congregation and outreach to the community.

  12. The Hyssongswill be presenting a concert of Gospel Music here at Trinity tonight! The concert will begin at 7:00 pm. Join us for a covered dish dinner before the concert at 5:30 pm in the auditorium.

  13. Operation Christmas Child • Boxes are available today for pick up at the exits by the Narthex, Locust Street lobby, and parking lot lobby. • See details in the bulletin. • This year’s collection date is November 18.

  14. Pumpkin Patch is Coming October 5 – 31, 2013 St. Martin’s Lutheran Church Consider helping to staff the Patch on Trinity's day, Friday, October 25. Sign up sheet at Coffee Hour.

  16. LIGHT HOUSE VOLUNTEERS Over the years, church members have asked how they can help on an individual basis. The Light House frequently does need individual volunteers for a special need. Contact Ron Burdge at 410-757-2179 or ronburdge@msn.com

  17. The church needs to spend approximately $12,660 to replace two air conditioning compressors and damage to the roof that was recently discovered. Please pray for the finances for these repairs! If you would like to contribute, please mark your donation “church repairs”. Thank you!

  18. Place your Light House Shelter donations of food and other nonperishable items in one of the two baskets located outside the sanctuary door and by the elevator.

  19. Join us every Tuesday morning at 8am for PRAYER TIME FOR OUR TROOPS!

  20. You are invited to “PRAYER TIME FOR TRINITY” every Tuesday morning at 9:30 am.

  22. Hearing Devices are available in the Narthex AND in the hallway outside of the entrance to the Sanctuary for use during the worship services. Please see an usher if you need assistance.

TUMC Emergency Building Evacuation IF THE FIRE ALARM SOUNDS: REMAIN CALM Evacuate immediately using the nearest exit DO NOT RUN DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR Assist people with special needs in your area. Go to the designated assembly areas which are located in the parsonage front yard and Locust St. Parking lot.

  24. TUMC Emergency Building Evacuation cont. DO NOT GO TO THE NURSERY OR SUNDAY SCHOOL for your children. They will be immediately escorted to the Locust St. designated assembly area. DO NOT GO TO YOUR AUTOMOBILE or attempt to move it from the parking lot. This could hinder access by emergency vehicles. Do not congregate near the building exits or in the parking lot or driveway. Do not reenter the building until an “All Clear” signal is given by emergency personnel.
