  1. MOCAP CHALLENGE March 3-6, 2016 Santa Barbara, CA IoT in Paradise! Featuring Be at the forefront of non-optical, motion capture development. Participating teams will have 36 hours to develop randomly picked motion capture challenges. Challenges will vary in their expectations, difficulty and how they record motion of extremities OR objects using a set of SanWood’s proprietary sensors, SweetSpot™, connected via Blue-tooth Low Energry (BLE) to Samsung’s Gear S2 smart watch. • Location – Impact Hub Santa Barbara, 1117 State St. • Welcome and networking event March 3rd , 6PM – 9PM • Challenge begins March 4th at 5PM – ends March 5th at Midnight • IoT Kids Day March 5th, 12PM – 3PM (optional for Disruptor sponsors) • Closing ceremony and awards March 6th, 12PM – 3PM Brought to you by SanWood, LLC

  3. MOCAP CHALLENGE March 3-6, 2016 Santa Barbara, CA challenge Approved teams will be equipped with a set of SweetSpot™ sensors and one Gear S2 smart watch, nothing else. Teams will be challenged to develop betas of wireless, non-optical, motion capture platforms. There is no fee for teams to participate. Team participation will be limited, teams will be pre-screened and must be approved. Its highly recommended that teams have experience in hardware, software and programming. Teams will be expected to have a minimum of three (3) team members and maximum of five (5) team members. Challenges will vary in their expectations and degree of difficulty. Participating teams will have access to the sensors with an SDK, and the watch with an SDK four (4) weeks prior to the event. Cash and technology prizes will be awarded. As Founder and Director of P3, he is dedicated to applying cutting edge science for optimal athletic achievement. He has trained some of the world's best athletes including those at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, the Australian Institute of Sport, and the Sports Science Institute of South Africa. Since 1998, Dr. Elliott's primary focus has been on peak performance and injury prevention in U.S. professional power-based sports, including baseball, basketball, football, volleyball and soccer.
