  1. J.R.R. Tolkien John Ronald Reuel Tolkien var en känd författare som föddes i Bloemfontein i Oranjefristaten. Han var en brittisk författare , poet, filolog, akademiker och universitetsprofessor. Men han var mest känd som författare efter att ha skrivit fantasyromanerna Bilbo, Sagan om ringen och Silmarillion.

  2. Lite mer om Tolkien… • Han föddes den 3 januari år 1892 och dog 2 september år 1973 • Hans fru hette Edith Bratt • Han hade fyra barn • De hette John Francis Reuel, Michael Hilary Reuel, Christopher Reuel och Priscilla Mary Reuel • Hans mor hette Mabel • Hon dog när han var 12 år

  3. Tolkiens utbildning År 1895 reste han till England för att hälsa på släktingar. Han reste aldrig hem igen utan han stannade där. Som barn gick han på King Edwards School. Tolkien studerade engelska och engelsk litteratur vid universitetet i Oxford.
