12. CTSO Task ForceGoals We have been asked to provide the background information and the current status of our CTSO Board Strengthening Initiative.
Let me start with a thank you for you dedication and support for Maryland students. I am sure we share the goal of increasing opportunities for young people as they explore careers and develop skills in Business, Management and Finance.
While we will focus this afternoon on FBLA, the ideas presented are designed to meet the needs of all CTSOs in Maryland listed here. As we move forward, we are interested in creating internal consistency in the way CTSOs are:
Organized / Governed
Aligned to CTE Programs of Study, and
Extend the Learning of CTE students as a co-curricula investmentWe have been asked to provide the background information and the current status of our CTSO Board Strengthening Initiative.
