RH1 – Celtic Heritage • Read the information about the Celtic Hill Fort and the motorway on the information sheet and complete the following tasks :- • Look at the arguments in favour of building the motorway on the site of the fort. Give three reasons for your answer. • Design a poster which is either for or against the building of the motorway. Your poster should include a picture and a slogan

  3. RH2 – The Roman Army • Use the information in your History jotter and information from the Internet to answer the following question :- Was the Roman Army a well organised fighting force? • Try to write an answer of at least 100 words

RH3 – Boadicea - Enemy of Rome • Design a newspaper front page about the rebellion of the Iceni tribe led by Boadicea against the Romans • Your front page should include :- • A newspaper title e.g. The Daily Roman • The date – AD61 • A price in Denarii • A headline e.g. ‘Bloody Rebellion’ • The story – write about the causes, main events and results of the rebellion • Use the information sheets and the Internet to help you write the story • Try to make your newspaper look like an old Roman document
