  6. A Once in a Lifetime Opportunity FUNDRAISING IDEAS Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat Raffle – I never ask the local businesses for any kind of support for the program this would be a good time! 50/50 raffles at local events Ebay Fundraiser – Bring in something Ebay worthy. All proceeds go to support trip. Any other suggestions? The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the most prestigious arts festival in the world. To have the opportunity, as a student, to be a part of it, is something that only comes around once. The amount of work required by all of us to make this work will be monumental.

  7. Who gets to go? Basically anyone who is involved in the theater program here at school and makes the commitment to work towards getting us there. They must be fully involved with one of our school productions either on or off stage.

  8. WHAT NOW? • SCHOOL COMMITTEE APPROVAL – they are concerned that this venture • will cost the town money. I am going there tonight to explain that we will be • working together to raise as much money as we can, to be split between those • students who are committed to going and that family contribution will take • care of the balance. • ARE YOU COMMITTED OR INTERESTED? - I need to present a list of • Students who are interested in going. Some of you may already be committed. • That is great! Sign the sheet and indicate your status. I will have to have$150, • Made out to Hopkinton High School Drama (Scotland in the memo area) before • July 1. I have to send a deposit in by July 15. I will take however many kids • want to go and make it work. • WHAT SHOW WILL WE DO? – My intention is to create a piece of theater, • with the students, that caters to the individual strengths of the individuals • involved.

  9. I look forward to creating a unique experience for your children! It can only happen if we all work together.
