BIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF PPLS Recent biological surveys conducted by Conservation International Philippines and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) initially recorded 280 species of plants. This includes trees, flowering plants, shrubs, lianas, vines, and orchids. Among the 280, more or less 16 are threatened species.
