AirElite 4h KO2 - function and reaction: 2KO2 + CO2 + H2O >> [K2CO3*H2O] + 1.5 O2 + E (Potassium Hyperoxide) (Potassium Carbonate) (Heat) • KO2 is a very reactive, extremely stable chemical, reacting with the humidity and the CO2 of the exhalation air, releasing O2 and heat (exothermic reaction) • KO2 oxidises reliably all foreign substances • ... and the breathing air is very dry!  MSA EUROPE 2005

  7. AirElite 4h Flexible Service Time: The service time depends on the respiration perform- ance. High performance (heavy work) increases the oxygen generation, low performance (light work) extends the service time! Sudden changes to high performance are compen-sated by the oxygen surplus!  MSA EUROPE 2005
