ScanGear v14.0 Modification – “Newspaper(Grayscale)” scanning • The menu of the “Select Source” list box has been changed in Basic Mode • “Newspaper(B&W)” has been replaced with “Newspaper(Grayscale)”. • “Newspaper(B&W)” scanning is processed in two levels, black and white • Fixed threshold for difference between black and white • “Newspaper(Grayscale)” replacing the predecessor now offers greyscale scanning • Avoids blur to characters on a wider range of newspaper types, 256 levels grey • Two level black and white scanning has now been moved to Advanced mode where black and white threshold can be adjusted.

Macintosh has not been supported as before
