  5. GPX essential device Three key elements The GPX device for the consumption side has three basic functionalities. The elementary device will: • Measure energy • Switch • Communicate

  6. What is a certificate of origin An electronic message (XML) in three parts: • Header • Transfer file body • Acknowledgement file body The transfer file body contains: • Certificate system • Identifications • Technology code • Data (amount, time, capacity & earmarks)

  9. Example of plug-and-play module For the common European plug system, a unit with a smartcard shows the consumed amount of specific energy from this windmill, or that solarpanel.
