  2. About Me Christopher C.’s Blurbs About me: I was born in a small city called Genoa in Spain and I love it! My dad, Domenico, owns his own cheese stand where I sometimes liked to work as a kid. Also, I have three brothers who are Bartolomeo, Giovanni Pellegrino and Giacomo. I am happily married to Filipa Moniz Perestrello and have a wonderful son named Diego. I love going to the sea in my spare time. I was 10 when I made my first visit and I havn’t stopped going ever since. I love to travel and explore new lands and I’m currently working on a new trade route to the Indies! I hope it works out. I can’t wait to finally prove to people that the Earth is not flat! Who I'd like to meet:If I could meet anyone, I would like to meet the queen of Spain. How amazing that would be! Maybe she would even pay ME to sail!

  7. Blog Page Monday October 12, 1492 (change to day you want)   Title of Entry: We landed!!!!!  Current mood:  ecstatic Today was completely awesome! I couldn’t believe that after all these difficult, life-threatening 5 weeks at sea I have finally landed in India! I have finally found an entry for Spain to enter the spice trade! Queen Isabella will be so proud to hear of this news! The beaches are breathtaking! Everything is so tropical; it is nothing that I had pictured for what India would look like. Oh-well. I am going to name this part of India in honor of Spain. I think I will call it “San Salvador”! It has a nice ring to it. I can’t believe I forgot to tell you about the native people here! They are so different than the stories I’ve heard from other traders. Because I’m in India, I shall refer to these people as “Indios”.
