  1. Venezuela The Vice Minister of Tourism of Venezuela proposes as tourism destinations: So that they might be considered and/or evaluated, in order to determine Levels of Sustainability. Morrocoy Golfo de Paria

  2. It may be said that in the northern half of the island, there is an elevated landscape, which extends towards the west up to the sea, giving rise to a rugged, beachless coast.  The island, on its northern slope, presents a rugged topography with steep cliffs, of 70º and more, down to the sea, resulting in vertical headlands and jutting outcrops. The southern slope of the western section is very similar. The easiest and quickest way to get there is by air. There are commercial flights from Maiquetía, Porlamar and Maracaibo and there are several airlines to choose from. Although the variety of flora and fauna is very limited on the dry land surfaces, the archipelago is a paradise for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. Game fishing is also an important attraction. The availability of yachts and sailing vessels for tourism is an option subject to constant change. This is partly due to the nature of the owners (generally free spirits)

  3. Morrocoy In Falcón state, to the northwest of Venezuela, between the towns of Tucacas and Chichiriviche, is the Morrocoy National Park. This park, which covers land as well as aquatic areas of the Golfo Triste, contains a great quantity of islets or keys, among which are Borracho, Pelón, Sombrero, Sal, Playuela and Peraza. The beaches of Morrocoy are spectacular. But also, beneath them, the coral and fish offer all their splendour to submariners. It possesses a great diversity of marine birds like pelicans (Pelecanus occidentalis), flamingoes (Phoenicopterus ruber), red and white marsh birds (Eudocimus ruber and E. albus), frigate birds (Fragata magnificens), herons and seagulls. More than 50 species of migratory birds.  Extensive coral reef formations with diversity of fish species, marine invertebrates and algae. There are also dolphins, sea turtles and coastal caiman (Crocodylus acutus). On the Cerro Chichiriviche: young deer (Mazama americana) and stag (Odocoileus virginianus), bobcat (Felis pardalis), howler monkey (Alouatta seniculus).

  4. Golfo de Paria One of the most impressive locations of the Venezuelan geography is the Paria Peninsula. There one can find a variety of locales ranging from the most beautiful beaches to mountainous woods, passing through wide savannahs. Among the most outstanding beaches of the place, and perhaps in all Venezuela, is Medina Beach, a truly privileged place, because of its exuberant vegetation, the greenness of its waters and the softness of its sand.

  5. Golfo de Paria Río de Agua is the name of this particular Ranch located in the south of the Paria peninsula. Its attractions are many: the beauty of its landscapes, its marshy savannah, the diversity of the fauna where there are freshwater fish, a great variety of birds, snakes and other species. But perhaps, its greatest attraction is the agro-ecological experiment based here, where alongside the rearing of buffalo, the use of non-traditional sources of energy, such as solar, wind turbine and biogas (methane), by-product of the use of buffalo excrement. In Paria there is also the Aguasana Hacienda, a centre of thermal waters, un paradise of well-being and health.
