  4. PROGRAM MISSION To facilitate the entry and increased participation of women’s and minority institutions in biomedical and behavioral research and research training.

  5. ELIGIBILITY Women’s Institutions Underrepresented Minority Institutions combined ethnic minority (Black, Latino, Native American, and Asian Pacific Islander) student enrollment equals or exceeds 50%) Selected Community Colleges 50% ethnic minority enrollment prior federal funding experience

THE EARDA GRANT • Supports Full Spectrum of Women & Minority Institutions (Community Colleges to Graduate & Professional Schools) • Five-Year Grants • $60,000 + 8% F&A in year 1 • $100,000 + 8% F&A in years 2 - 5 • EARDA GRANT Supports Faculty & Student Research • Option for Additional 3 –year Transitional Award
