  1. Changed the name of mutual fund, check your scheme SEBI had issued new rules for mutual fund companies in October last year. Now every mutual fund company can continue the scheme only in 36 categories of equity and debt. Apart from this, the category of mutual fund scheme will have to be done according to its own investment. Due to these SEBI regulations, mutual fund companies are now changing the name of their schemes, and their investment strategy is also being decided by the new rules. This process has started by mutual fund companies, and has begun to change the name of its scheme. Simultaneously, investment strategy is also being changed. In this case, those who invest in mutual funds are required to be updated so that they can get good returns. According to the Director of AKA, Financial Advisor firm BPN Fincap, the investment in equity mutual funds is usually done according to their ability to take risk. In such a situation, it is important to know if the mutual fund scheme is changing its investment strategy. Just like HDFC Prudence's investment strategy was that it would invest up to 75 percent of the equity and put the rest in the debt instrument, but now it can put 100 percent equity or 100 percent in a date. Those who have lesser risk can be in trouble, because their entire money can be invested in equities. In such a situation, they need to consider their investment. Similar is the case with many other schemes, which investors should know.
