  3. Ronald Reagan 1984 • Raised taxes more than any other president in history • Iran-Contra Scandal hurt his reputation

  4. George Bush 1988 • President during the “War in the Gulf” against Iraq

  5. Bill Clinton 1992 • Passed N.A.F.T.A. and G.A.T.T. to create free trade in America • His Health Security Act failed to pass because of Insurance Propaganda that scared Americans

  6. Bill Clinton 1996 • His First Lady was both popular and unpopular, and went on the become the only first lady to serve in the U.S. Congress • Second President in History to be impeached

  7. George W. Bush 2000 • Won the election even though losing the popular vote and having “funny” ballots in Florida, where the counting of votes was disputed • Terrorists targeted the World Trade Center and U.S. pentagon on the same day “September 11th”

  8. George W. Bush 2004 • Second son of a president to serve as a president himself

  9. Barack Obama 2008 • 1st Black President
