IntroductionRelease 3 • Release 3 is currently available on all V7.00 and V7.10 Evolution Version with separate installations for each • Release 3 was split into 3 interim releases: • R3.1 – Released June ‘15 • R3.2 – Released Oct ‘15 • R3.3 – Release: Feb ’16 • Release 4 will mainly consist of Evolution V7.20 and V8 compatibility, no new features • Once SM Version 8 is available, new feature development will stop for all Evolution Version 7 builds, and continue on V8 upwards Sage Business Partner Conference 2016 @SageGroupZA | #SageBPCon

Release 3.2Main Features • Quick Tasks • Quick Tasks have been implemented to allow you to create Service Requests/Tasks without being forced to link it to an Asset as well as the ability to create Service Tasks without linked Requests. • General Reminders • General Reminders will now be listed for Assets/Contracts/Billing with their respective due dates. • Picking Slips (with BOM) • Picking Slips are now available on Service Task / Parts Entry screens. • Sub-Components • Sub-Components on Assets gives you the ability to link multiple stock/other items/components with serial numbers to a single master asset as well as maintain warranty dates on the respective components. • UDFs on Grids and Documents Sage Business Partner Conference 2016 @SageGroupZA | #SageBPCon

Release 3 In Closing • The changes done as part of R3 in Service Manager has matured the product to a level that opens up doors for new industries, including General Callout Service Providers and entry into Office Automation and Rental Companies (Med-Long Term) • Tracking on various levels allows users a clear view of their assets and the usage thereof. (Incl. Meter History, Tracking on Asset other configuration changes) • The flexibility around customers on the application is now more flexible which makes it more user friendly for companies that only maintains their own fleet. (Additional Customers, Billing, Contracts disabled if user so chooses) • Mobile component compliments the system in many ways including allowing for a more modern approach to services, increased turnaround times, and reduced workload on administrative staff.
