H4 turntable constraints Benefits of the proposed siting of Dee on turntable Vertical rotation - in 2004, SCs moved in an arc – difficult to follow - 2005 scheme SCs move ~vertically - unfortunately radius of rotation only ~ 1m Horizontal rotation - in 2004 adjacent SCs were not horizontal after rotations in the vertical - 2005 scheme, a better x-y grid of xtal positions for data taking/analysis D Cockerill, RAL, 8 June 2005
