Thermo RadEye Operational Features • Switching on: • Press and hold for at least 2 seconds: • Automatic device self-testing (LED, sound, vibration) • Automatic background measurement (learning displayed for 1/2 min) • Pager is ready for use • Monitoring mode: designed to be worn on a belt in a holster during your activities • Search mode: for localization of the source in case of an alarm • Switching off: press Menu button 3 times

  7. RadEye in Search Mode • Activating search mode: • Press right top button or • Double click on button with loudspeaker symbol • Display shows: loudspeaker and search tone symbol • Frequency of the search tone varies with the radiation field • Selectable search tone: • Single pulse or • Finder

  8. RadEye in Search Mode • Move detector slowly (< 0.5 m/s) and close to the surface • Keep 5-10 cm from surface to avoid possible contamination • Do not shield the sensitive point with your fingers

  9. Locking and Unlocking the RadEye • Locking the keypad: • Press and hold the button for at least 2 seconds • Key symbol ( ) displayed in upper left corner • To unlock the keypad: • Press button • Press the buttons in the order shown on the display (1., 2., 3.) 1. 3. 2.
