  2. Summary • Ernie is an orphan boy who always causes trouble. Ernie`s “Adventures” get him stuck at on a farm in the middle of nowhere. But, everything is not what it seems when he steps off the train. Now Ernie has to help his new friends, the Puddlejumpers, Plant his silver Acorn in the most Dark. With the help of Root, Runnel, and Chop, Can Ernie save the Puddlejumpers? Read to find out!

  3. Main Characters: • Shawn/Ernie Ernie is the orphan who was named after Chicago Cubs player Ernie Banks. Ernie enjoys Baseball and causing trouble (And Shawn). • Joey A joyous and brave tomboy who always follows the rules. She enjoys Riding her horse and Having adventures . • Russ I cannot tell you much about Russ, or else it would give away the story ending. But Russ is a gardener that has a child that disappeared.

  4. The Troggs • Harvey Holsapple A mean grouch who is really a trogg in disguise. He enjoys capturing Puddlejumpers to eat (Yuck!). • Angus and Axel Holsapple The twin troggs who are the same as their father, Harvey. • Dicky Cobb: Dicky Cobb is a close friend of Harvey and also a trogg.

  5. Settings • Holsapple Property • Russ`s farm • The puddle • The crib room • The maze • Holsapple`s basement

  6. Problem: • Ernie needs to help the Puddlejumpers place his silver acorn in the most dark (Holsapple`s Furnace).

  7. What they did: • They turn Ernie into a Puddlejumper and sneak in to Holsapple`s house (Chop, Root, and Runnel get eaten) And get into his basement to plant the acorn in the furnace. They discover hundreds and hundreds of Puddlejumpers are struggling to keep the furnace up and running.

  8. Solution • They destroy the troggs, Plant the acorn in the most dark, save the Puddlejumpers from death, And they make it rain on the dry crops.

  10. Rating: • I rated this WWW for wikirific because The fantasy was great, but I didn’t really know what was going on. It just kept rushing ahead instead of telling the reader what was happening.
