3. What’s it for? • The Education Portal is intended to provide information from Cambridgeshire CC Services to Cambridgeshire schools • All schools have accounts

4. How do we access it? • The content is mostly public, though … • Anonymous users may see less … … than Users who log in

5. What About Accounts? • Accounts are available for every Cambridgeshire teacher • Chair of Governors, Clerk, Finance Governor and Child Protection Governors have personal accounts • Other Governors have a generic or shared account • Individual accounts may be purchased if required

6. How are Accounts Managed? • The ICT Service created them • School administrators manage them • Clerks organise them for governors • So … • Governors should talk to clerks and clerks to school administrators to oversee changes in the governing body • Only school admins should contact The ICT Service

7. Special for CamClerks • CamClerks do have individual accounts. • Currently they are not linked to a school but this can be done by tech services (manually). • Schools cannot manage these accounts in the admin tool, this is currently a manual process for tech services. • Their single accounts can be made a member of multiple school groups (MPGs). • If we make CamClerks members of the right school groups they would not need to be explicitly added to the private workspaces. Group memberships would give the correct level of access.

8. Where to find things Log in at http://www.learntogether.org.uk Then visit the Services > Governor Services Area or enter a text string in the Search box (which searches Cambridgeshire, DfE and Ofsted too! )
