PTAC - Who We Are Procurement Technical Assistance Center • There are PTAC’s in every state, comprising over 300 local offices, and forming a nationwide network of procurement professionals to help businesses compete successfully in the government marketplace. • PTAC’s are the bridge between the buyer and supplier. We assist companies compete for all levels of government contracts - Federal, State and Local, including Schools & Universities. • In 1985, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) initiated The Procurement Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement Program in orderto increase competition for small businesses to sell products and services to the Department of Defense (DoD). • To find a PTAC any where in the US, visit - www.APTAC-US.org

PTAC - Who We Are…..continued • PTAC’s come in a variety of different sizes and shapes, reflecting the needs, priorities and resources of the areas they serve • Some PTAC’s are administered directly by state governments; others partner with universities, community colleges, local economic development corporations or other local institutions • Many are affiliated with Small Business Development Centers (SBDC’s) and other small business programs

Ohio PTAC Network • The Ohio PTAC Network…… • Has 10 PTAC offices located throughout Ohio • Can offer help in every aspect of the government contracting process, from the basics of just getting started to post-award assistance. • Can help entrepreneurs who are new to government contracting, as well as more experienced contractors.

Ohio University PTAC - Who We Are • The Ohio University PTAC (OU PTAC) is part of the Center for Entrepreneurship - a partnership between the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs & College of Business • OU PTAC has 6 Office Locations throughout Central, Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest OH regions • The OU PTAC region consists of 55 counties – with offices located in Akron, Athens, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and Lancaster • OU PTAC Services are offered at No Cost!! This is the result of a partnership with the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Development Services Agency (DSA), and the Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership.
