Eligible countries • NATO countries (26) Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States. • Partner countries (23) Albania, Armenia, Austria1, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Finland1, Georgia, Ireland1, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Tajikistan, Serbia, Sweden1, Switzerland1, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia2, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan. • Mediterranean Dialogue countries (7) Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia 1 Partner country not eligible for funding. 2 Turkey recognises the Republic of Macedonia with its constitutional name.

SPS Programme Funds Mechanisms • Grants for Workshops and Trainings • Travel and living costs, organisation, publication • Computer Networking Grants • Establishment and updating of computer networks • Grants for applied R&D Projects “Science for Peace” • Direct cost for equipment, computer, travel, training, consumables, stipends • No indirect cost, no salaries, no tax
