What Was Achieved For those living around the forest • In Huruma Village/Slum: • A playing field and community meeting area, bee hives and a honey plant, fish ponds, water treatment plants, help with the school, jobs, the ability to collect firewood safely without fear of attack. • The fence provides security for them too and there has not been a single car jacking or police roundup since the initiative was put in place. • A voice and respect in the community • Other Residential Areas • An extraordinary and life changing amenity • Security
