2. There are Different Kinds of Wire Rope available for Industrial Applications. Wire Ropes are classified in the total number of strands and the exact amount of wires used in each strand, weight lifting capacity, twisting resistance etc. Besides all kinds of wire ropes, some of them are specially Designed ropes for construction and Lifting Applications.

3. Rotation Resistant: • Some wire rope especially lang lay type are more susceptible to rotation while under load. This kind of wire rope is specially designed to prevent twisting or rotation and can be used in a single line or multipart system. • It needs to take care of while installation and handling the rotation resistant wire rope. Improper handling produces twist into the rope which can cause imbalanced rotation.

Compacted Strand: • Compacted Strand wire rope is manufactured using strands that have been intensive, this design decrease the diameter of the whole strand by passing from rollers. • Passing through this process, outer wires surfaces will flatten, but increase the density of the strands. It turns into a smoother outer surface and increases the strength compared to comparable round wire rope.

5. Swaged Type: • Its a slide different from the normal compact wire rope, it comes with a compacted diameter or it can be decreased by the rotary machine after the wire rope has been closed. This wire Rope produces by combining the round strands. • Swaged wire ropes are more wear and crushing resistance, and high strength compared to a round strand wire rope of the same diameter. Albeit, a swaged wire rope may have less bending fatigue resistance.
