  4. How do I find an Internship? • Register with Career Services • http://career-services.tamucc.edu • Upload resume when registering • Meet with your Career Counselor • Apply in a timely manner • Summer Internship applications are usually due by February!

  5. Finding an Internship • I-Link database is the first place to look! • On-campus recruiting • Internship directories in Career Services library • Attend Career Fairs • Network with faculty, family, and friends

  6. Resumes • Should be one page in length • Include only relevant information • Just the facts - never embellish the truth • Meet with Career Counselor for specific resume help

  7. Acing the Interview • Attend Interview workshop • Practice/Mock Interview • Dress the part • Be on time • Answer questions clearly and succinctly • Follow up with a “thank you”
