  2. Nun and Naunet Nun and Naunet were the Egyptian Gods of chaos and water. Egyptians believed that before that world was formed, there was a watery mass of dark, directionless chaos.

  3. NUN (NU) In the Ogdoad cosmogony nu means “abyss”. In ancient Egyptian art,Nun also appears as a bearded man, with blue-green skin, representing water.

  4. NAUNET • In ancient Egyptian art, Naunet is represented as a snake or snake-headed woman. • In the Ogdoad cosmogony, she is the girlfriend of Nun, and travels with him in the solar boat.
